Golf Room – Precision Golf GmbH, Zurich – Version dated 1 October 2026
1. Scope and Contracting Party
1.1Precision Golf GmbH, Trottenstrasse 27, 8037 Zurich (the “Company”), operates premises with golf simulators under the name “Golf Room” at Zwinglistrasse 8, 8004 Zurich (the “Facility”).
1.2These GTC apply to all bookings and to any use of the Facility, including use by accompanying persons. By completing the booking, the person making the booking accepts these GTC. Deviating agreements require text form.
1.3The version published on www.golfroom.ch at the time of booking shall be authoritative.
1.4The Facility can be booked daily from 07:00 to 22:00. The slots made available on the booking platform shall be authoritative. The Company may adjust the bookable times at any time; Section 11.6 applies to bookings that have already been confirmed.
2. Booking, Conclusion of Contract and Prices
2.1Bookings are made exclusively online via the Trackman booking platform linked on www.golfroom.ch. A Trackman user account is required for booking. Payment processing is carried out via the payment service provider Adyen, and access is provided via the Avigilon Alta access system. The contractual and data protection provisions of the respective providers additionally apply to these services.
2.2The sole contracting party for use of the Facility is Precision Golf GmbH. The aforementioned third-party providers exclusively provide technical services (booking, payment, access).
2.3A time period (slot) at a simulator is booked at a flat rate, irrespective of the number of persons present, time of day, day of the week or season. The price is based on the booked duration; the price displayed on the booking platform for the selected slot shall be authoritative. The booked time period includes access, preparation, system start-up, actual use, tidying up and leaving the Facility on time. A maximum of six persons are permitted per slot. All persons present count as persons, including accompanying persons who do not play and children.
2.4The price must be paid via the booking platform at the time of booking. The prices published at the time of booking apply, including any applicable value added tax. Once payment has been made, the person making the booking receives a booking confirmation from Trackman as well as an email from the Company containing the access information.
3. Cancellation, No-Show, Early Termination
3.1Bookings may be cancelled or rescheduled free of charge via the booking platform up to 24 hours before the start of the booked slot.
3.2In the event of a later cancellation or a no-show, the full price remains due; no refund will be made.
3.3If the person making the booking provides evidence of an important reason preventing attendance, in particular illness or accident, supported by a medical certificate, the booking amount will be credited in accordance with Section 12. The evidence must be submitted by email to info@golfroom.ch no later than five calendar days after the booked appointment; if this deadline expires unused, there is no entitlement. A reason preventing an accompanying person from attending does not give rise to an entitlement if the person making the booking and the remainder of the group were able to use the booking. Other reasons, in particular work-related inability to attend, traffic disruptions or weather conditions, do not give rise to an entitlement.
3.4Late arrival or early termination of use does not entitle the customer to either a refund or an extension of the slot.
4. Access and Self-Service Operation
4.1The Facility is operated without staff on a self-service basis. Access is provided by means of a personal access code, which is sent to the person making the booking in advance by email and is valid from five minutes before the start until five minutes after the end of the booked slot.
4.2The access code is personal and may only be shared with persons in the person’s own group. The person making the booking must ensure that no unauthorised persons gain access and that, when leaving, the lock has engaged and the door can no longer be opened from the outside without a valid access code. If these obligations are breached, the person making the booking shall be liable for any resulting damage. Exit from the Facility is possible at any time and without an access code. Leaving the Facility after the slot has expired does not give rise to any entitlement to re-entry.
4.3If the permitted usage time is exceeded by more than ten minutes, the Company may charge an additional fee of CHF 50 for each commenced quarter-hour in addition to the booking price. The right to claim compensation for any further damage, in particular in relation to subsequent customers, is reserved.
5. Accompanying Persons and Minors
5.1The person making the booking may bring guests; the maximum numbers pursuant to Section 2.3 apply. The person making the booking is responsible for ensuring that all accompanying persons comply with these GTC and is liable for their conduct as for their own.
5.2There is no minimum age for use of the Facility. Children under the age of 12 may use the Facility only when accompanied by an adult. The youth protection provisions pursuant to Section 8 apply to alcoholic beverages.
6. Rules of Use
6.1The Facility, its furnishings and the golf equipment provided must be used with due care and in accordance with the instructions displayed on site.
6.2Golf shots may be taken exclusively from the designated hitting area in the direction of the screen. During a swing, no persons may be located within the swing or ball-flight area or in front of the hitting line. Care must be taken with balls and clubs lying on the floor.
6.3The balls and rental clubs provided on site may be used free of charge and must be returned to their designated place after use. Personal balls may only be used if they are clean, undamaged and free of handwritten markings. Balls that have been used outdoors may only be used after being fully cleaned. Personal clubs are permitted provided that they are undamaged, have no sharp edges and the clubfaces are clean.
6.4Smoking, including electronic cigarettes, is prohibited throughout the Facility.
6.5Food and beverages brought onto the premises are permitted. They must be consumed outside the hitting area. Waste must be disposed of in the designated containers.
6.6Access to technical and storage areas is prohibited.
6.7The Facility has toilets and showers. These must be left clean and in proper condition. Waste must be disposed of in the designated containers. The sanitary facilities are not subject to video surveillance. If a group causes soiling beyond normal use, in particular vomit, spilled beverages, soiling outside the sanitary facilities or a significant amount of waste left behind, the actual additional cleaning costs may be charged to the person making the booking.
6.8If a sound system is provided in the Facility, the volume must be set so that neighbours and third parties are not disturbed. On national and cantonal public holidays, as well as from 12:00 to 13:00 and from 22:00 onwards, the sound system must be reduced to room volume; windows and doors must be kept closed, and noise in the entrance area and outdoors must be avoided.
6.9First-aid materials are available. Emergency numbers: 144 (ambulance), 118 (fire brigade), 117 (police). In the event of an accident, fire, smoke, water leakage or any other danger, use must be stopped immediately, the Facility must be left if necessary, and the appropriate emergency number must be called. Escape routes, emergency exits, fire-extinguishing equipment and distribution cabinets must be kept clear at all times. Damaged or visibly defective devices and equipment may not continue to be used. Any safety-relevant incident must be reported to the Company immediately at info@golfroom.ch. Exit is possible at any time and without an access code.
6.10The Facility may only be entered wearing clean shoes. Shoes with metal spikes are prohibited. Heavily soiled or wet shoes and clothing must be changed or cleaned before entering the hitting area.
6.11Commercial use of the Facility requires the prior consent of the Company in text form. Commercial use includes, in particular, paid golf instruction and paid courses, tournaments and corporate events, photo and video productions, advertising and product presentations, as well as the paid or unpaid resale or transfer of booked slots to third parties outside the person’s own group. In the event of a breach, the Company may terminate use immediately and proceed in accordance with Section 9. Amounts already paid will not be refunded.
7. Self-Service Bar
7.1Beverages and snacks may be obtained in the lounge at the prices displayed on site. Payment must be made immediately upon taking the item via TWINT (QR code).
7.2Items are taken on a trust basis. If consumed items are not paid for, the Company is entitled to review the video recordings and charge the amount owed to the person making the booking. If the amount is not paid within ten days following a written request, an additional administrative fee of CHF 50 may be charged.
8. Alcohol and Youth Protection
8.1The Company does not provide alcoholic beverages at the Facility. Fermented beverages brought onto the premises (in particular beer and wine) may only be consumed by persons aged 16 or over, and distilled alcoholic beverages (spirits) only by persons aged 18 or over.
8.2Use of the simulator while heavily intoxicated is prohibited. The person making the booking is responsible for ensuring compliance with this provision within their group. The Company is entitled to verify compliance with the provisions of this Section, including retrospectively by reviewing the video recordings.
9. Damage and Violations
9.1Any damage, soiling or missing items already identified upon entering the Facility must be reported immediately before use begins, where possible with a photograph, to info@golfroom.ch. If no report is made, this may be taken into account when assessing the evidence regarding the time at which the damage occurred. This does not establish a presumption that unreported damage was caused by the respective group.
9.2The person making the booking is liable for all damage to the Facility, its furnishings and equipment, as well as for removed items, caused by that person or their accompanying persons. Damage and soiling attributable to intent or negligence will be remedied at the expense of the person who caused it or the person making the booking. In the event of severe soiling, the additional cleaning costs may be charged.
9.3Damage, malfunctions and unusual incidents must be reported to the Company immediately by email (info@golfroom.ch) or via the contact form.
9.4In the event of violations of these GTC, the Company may remove the person responsible from the premises, exclude them from future bookings and ban them from the premises. Amounts already paid will not be refunded in such cases. Civil and criminal legal action remains reserved.
9.5Items left behind will be retained for 30 days insofar as this is reasonable. Perishable or obviously worthless items may be disposed of immediately. Shipping and special storage shall be at the expense and risk of the entitled person. The statutory provisions governing lost property remain reserved.
10. Liability of the Company
10.1Use of the Facility is at the customer’s own risk. Indoor golf involves inherent typical risks, in particular balls rebounding from the screen or walls, mishit shots, the swinging movements of other persons, and balls and equipment lying on the floor.
10.2To the extent permitted by law, the Company excludes liability for slight negligence as well as for indirect damage and consequential damage. Liability for personal injury, unlawful intent and gross negligence is not excluded.
10.3No liability is accepted for valuables brought onto the premises, clothing and personal equipment. The Company is not liable for disruptions to systems of third-party providers (booking via Trackman, payment via Adyen, access via Avigilon Alta) that are beyond its control. Claims for an extension, credit or refund pursuant to Section 11 remain expressly reserved.
11. Technical Malfunctions
11.1In the event of technical problems with the simulator, the Trackman hotline is available at +49 6131 493 2002. In the event of problems with access, the Facility or payment, the Company can be contacted at info@golfroom.ch. Malfunctions should, where possible, be reported during the current slot; a later report may be taken into account when assessing the claim.
11.2If the Facility could not be used at all during the booked slot through no fault of the customer, in particular due to denied access or a complete failure of the simulator, the booking amount will be refunded to the payment method used for payment. At the customer’s request, a credit pursuant to Section 12 may be granted instead. Incorrect operation of the software does not constitute a technical malfunction.
11.3If the Facility could only be used partially, the Company will, at the customer’s choice, grant a credit corresponding to the proportion of time during which it could not be used or provide a replacement booking. Disruptions lasting less than ten minutes do not give rise to an entitlement.
11.4Further claims, in particular reimbursement of expenses or consequential costs, are excluded to the extent permitted by law.
11.5If a slot cannot be started on time because the preceding group did not leave the Facility on time, the usage period will be extended accordingly insofar as operationally possible. If an extension is not possible, the booking amount will be refunded proportionately or, at the choice of the person making the booking, credited proportionately. Delays of less than ten minutes do not give rise to an entitlement.
11.6Precision Golf GmbH may cancel a booking if use is not possible for operational or technical reasons, due to an official order, power or water failure, burglary, necessary repairs or force majeure. At the customer’s choice, the booking amount will be refunded or a replacement date will be provided. Further claims, in particular reimbursement of travel, accommodation or other consequential costs, are excluded to the extent permitted by law.
11.7Animals are not permitted in the Facility. Assistance dogs for persons with disabilities are exempt.
12. Credits and Vouchers
12.1Credits and vouchers are valid for 10 years from the date of issue and may be redeemed exclusively for bookings of the Facility. Unused credits expire after this period.
12.2Credits will not be paid out in cash. Any remaining credit after redemption remains valid until the expiry of its validity period. Multiple credits may be combined unless otherwise stated. Promotional and discount codes cannot be combined.
12.3Credits are non-transferable insofar as they are credited to a personal user account. Credits issued as vouchers are transferable. If the code is lost, there is no entitlement to replacement unless the code can be clearly assigned.
12.4If operations are discontinued, credits that have not yet been redeemed will not be refunded.
13. Video Surveillance
13.1The Facility, including the entrance area, is subject to video surveillance for the protection of persons and property, the investigation of incidents and the enforcement of these GTC. No facial recognition takes place. Notices regarding surveillance are displayed on site. Details are governed by the Privacy Policy at www.golfroom.ch.
14. Amendments to these GTC
14.1The Company may amend these GTC at any time. For existing bookings, the version published at the time of the respective booking shall apply.
15. Final Provisions
15.1Should individual provisions of these GTC be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid provision that comes closest to the economic purpose of the invalid provision.
15.2The contractual relationship shall be governed exclusively by Swiss law, excluding conflict-of-law rules and the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
15.3The courts in the judicial district of Zurich shall have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory statutory places of jurisdiction provide otherwise.
